Dhaka National Medical College (DNMC) is a well-known private medical college located in the capital city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The college was established in 1994, continuing the legacy of the Dhaka National Medical Institute, which originally began in 1925 during the Non-Cooperation Movement in the Indian subcontinent.The college offers a 5-year MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program followed by a 1-year compulsory internship. The degree is awarded by the University of Dhaka and the program is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), making the qualification internationally accepted in many countries.
