Dnipropetrovsk State Medical University (DSMU) is one of Ukraine’s oldest and most respected medical institutions, established on September 15, 1916. It originated from the Ekaterynoslavsky Higher Female Courses Institute and later became a State Academy in 1920. In 2021, it was renamed from the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy to Dnipropetrovsk State Medical University by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
It holds the highest (Level IV) accreditation in Ukraine and provides a broad range of medical and health-related programs.
