East West Medical College was founded in 2000. East West Medical College lays great emphasis on scientific research over anything else. East West Medical College has important national and municipal disciplines, laboratories and exchange stations for post-doctoral research.East West Medical College is located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. Like all other capitals Dhaka is the cultural, political and economic center of Bangladesh. Dhaka is famous for its cuisine, art festivals and religious diversity. Bangladesh has been a part of India at one point in history and has close connections with India. The people of Dhaka are helpful towards the new entrants in the city. The curriculum of the college is designed as per the international standards, and the course duration of the MBBS program is 5 years. East-West Medical College & Hospital has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Till date, 11 batches from EWMC have successfully completed their MBBS program and are working as competent registered doctors in various parts of the world. The campus has a beautiful location as it is situated on the river bank of Turag.
The newly constructed academic building of East-West Medical College comprises of modern classrooms along with lecture galleries, practical classrooms, libraries, reading rooms, conference halls, etc. The campus offers various facilities such as a Mosque, cafeteria and a sports complex for various indoors and outdoors games.
Accommodation
The hostels are located on the campus of the college and are furnished and equipped with all the modern facilities including the central heating system, air conditioning, 24 hours water supply, etc. The college has a student canteen which is famous for its Indian food. The college has a well-maintained security system with CCTV surveillance and 24 hours security guard protection for all its students.
