Ivanovo State Medical Academy was established in 1930. The Academy is located in Ivanovo city. It is the administrative center of Ivanovo Region. The city is situated in the river basin of the Volga, on the popular tourist route "the Gold Ring of Russia ". Ivanovo is also known as "the city of brides".

By the end of 1940, Ivanovo State Medical Institute had 37 departments. In 1984, was established the Faculty of Advanced Medical. Later on, this faculty has been converted into additional faculty and postgraduate education and then into the Institute of Postgraduate Education..

There are several faculties in ISMA, among most important are:

  1. Faculty of General Medicine/M.D/Ph.D
  2. Faculty of Paediatrics
  3. Faculty of Dentistry
  4. Faculty of Post Graduation
  5. Faculty of Preparation of Highest Qualification Personnel
  6. Faculty of Preparatory

In 1991, first foreign students were accepted. Since that time, more than 200 foreign students have obtained medical education at Ivanovo State Medical Academy. Currently, foreign students from more than 23 countries are trained at the Academy. "The Days of National Culture" are regularly held by international students' communities.

In 1993, there were organized the following faculties: Nursing Faculty, Pre-University Training and Foreign Students Faculty.

In 1994, Ivanovo State Medical Institute was awarded with the status of the State Medical Academy. For the past 80 years, the Academy has become a reputable higher medical institution and the leader in the region of educational area of higher medical education in the Russian Federation.

Currently, Ivanovo State Medical Academy has 75 departments. The teaching staff of the Academy consists of more than 400 lecturers, among them there are 70 Doctors of Science and more than 270 Candidates of Science.

Since the date of establishment till the present day, the Academy has successfully trained more than 25000 doctors. Nowadays, almost 3000 students are trained at the Academy. Students are offered to get both undergraduate and postgraduate education.

Accommodation:

Students are offered to live at comfortable rooms at students’ hostels. There are different types of rooms, but all the rooms are fully furnished and well-heated. Usually, there are two or three persons per room. Male and female students live separately. Students can use accommodation facilities on the sharing basis. All the hostels for students are safe and secure. There are special accommodation areas, where students can socialize and have fun. All the students hostels are located not far from the Academy, so that students can easily get the on foot.

Admission Procedure

  • Visit our office personally for admission. There will be provide you information regarding abroad universities, eligibility criteria, fee structure and admission procedure.
  • The students and parents need to understand carefully all the information about Universities fee and other expenses abroad.
  • Once the student and parents has satisfied with all points, students must fill up application form for book his seat in abroad University.
  • Student should bring original educational documents - marksheets & passing certificate of 10th, 12th and B.Sc (if completed).
  • NEET Passed result.
  • Both Vaccination ertificte.
  • 06 Coloured photographs - size 35X45 cm, 70% face cover, white back ground.
  • Aadhar card and Pan card of student.
  • Aadhar card and Pan card of Father or Mother.
  • At primary stage student has to pay / bank transfer an Application charges Rs. 50,000 (Fifty thousands Rupees).
  • After deposit the Application fee you will receive an Admission letter from university within a week. At that time student should submit original Passport with photographs. Original Passport should be valid minimum 1.5 years.
  • Next We will apply for the Visa Invitation letter which is an official document issued by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of destination country.
  • After receiving the Visa Invitation letter, Student should pay cost of visa which is staple by Embassy, New Delhi.
  • Once the visa is ready, our staff will inform the student about the date of travel with group of students.
  • The student shall make arrangements to take necessary foreign exchange to pay tuition fees and other expenses. 12th marksheet including Passport are given back to the students at the time of departure at Airport.
  • By this time students should start preparing for their travel to abroad. Besides a check-list of necessary instructions will be provide to the student.
  • The students will also need to ensure that all the necessary original documents are kept as such documents will need to be presented at the university office on their arrival. There group of students will be received by our representative. Who will help to reach from Airport to the University hostel.
  • Next day, our representative will help group of students to submit the Tuition fees, Hostel fees and other charges in the University. All instructions will be guide by our representative until the complete admission process is done and will help to students at every step in foreign country.
  • Medical check-up in India & Abroad, Air ticket and food charges will be extra.
