The Termiz branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy was established on the basis of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 172 dated March 5, 2018 based on the order given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. done Branch educational buildings are located in 1 region, in addition, there are clinical departments in about 30 state and non-state treatment and prevention institutions located in the city of Termiz and the surrounding area. The capacity of students in two shifts of teaching is fully covered. The capacity of 2 educational buildings located on the territory of the branch is 950 places. The branch has 1 faculty and 15 departments, 9 of which are clinical (specialty) departments. 4,462 students are studying in the branch’s 3 undergraduate education areas and 8 clinical residency specialties. There are 4,403 full-time students in undergraduate education, 59 in clinical residency specialties. Also, starting from the academic year 2021-2022, a joint educational program in the form of “3+3” was organized with the Privolzhsk Scientific Research Medical Branch of the Russian Federation. Today, 311 students are studying on the basis of this joint educational program. Starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, a joint educational program in the form of “3+3” was established with the Privolzhsk Scientific Research Medical Branch of the Russian Federation. Today, 31 students are studying on the basis of this joint educational program.
124 professors and teachers work in the main staff of the branch. 16 of them are professors and teachers with scientific degrees. Among them, 1 doctor of science, 15 candidates of science, associate professors, doctor of philosophy (PhD). Currently, the scientific potential of the branch is 12.0%. In the 2021-2022 academic year, educational laboratories of basic sciences (including medical chemistry, biochemistry, histology, physiology, microbiology) were established in order to conduct the educational process based on the requirements specified in the State Education Standards.
172 computers are used for the educational process, 52 computers are used in the dean’s office, departments and departments. In the branch, 246 computers are connected to the corporate network and the Internet. Currently, the Internet speed in the Branch is 600 Mb/sec. In the 800-seat educational building, 55 auditoriums are equipped with special audio and video equipment.
